Isabelle Silverman grew up in Switzerland but has lived in New York City for the last 20 years. After graduating from law school in Switzerland and the U.S., she worked as an environmental attorney in New York City – first for McDermott, Will & Emery, later for INFORM and Environmental Defense Fund (EDF). While at EDF, Silverman worked on energy and clean air issues. She left EDF after almost ten years to spend a year with her family in Switzerland. After returning to the U.S., Silverman has been working on energy efficiency projects. Silverman lives in New York City with her husband and two daughters, Sophie, and Ellie.
