Natasha S. Brown

Natasha Szarkowski Brown joined the board of CIVITAS in 2009 and serves at the secretary and co-chair of the zoning committee.

Natasha is a Senior Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle, a commercial real estate firm.  She is commercial leasing broker responsible for leading transactions, analysis and research regarding site selection, and lease negotiations. She has experience in strategic analysis of portfolios, financial modeling, and portfolio management.

Prior to JLL, Natasha spent six years with The Staubach Company servicing corporate real estate requirements. Active in commercial leasing in both downtown and midtown New York, she completed over 2.5mm RSF of transactions while at Staubach, as well as acting as a point of contact for regional transaction management.  She was a finalist for the Real Estate Board of New York’s Salesperson of the year in 2004.

Natasha holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University.  In addition to her work with CIVITAS, she is on the leadership board of Search & Care, which provides support and resources for older residents to remain in their homes and live independently.

A native New Yorker, Natasha lives in Carnegie Hill, with her husband Colton and their dog Philo.
